Beta
First Release Candidate
Mar/16/2008 11:39 PM
I have done it! I dare to call this version a release candidate. After finally repairing bundle support and fixing all known bugs, Chipmunk seems to be ready for prime time. Please use this version to check if everything's fine and give much appreciated feedback. Thank You
Changes:
- handles bundles correctly now
- fixed several crashing issues
Beta 6 a lot more stable!
Mar/14/2008 11:54 AM
After hunting for crash bugs for quite a while, this should be a lot more stable now. Thanks to everybody who send in crash reports. Without them I wouldn't know what's going wrong or that something's going wrong in the first place. I also reduced memory consumption considerably which benefits people who scan large drives for duplicates. Have Fun!
Changes:
- displays count of catalogued files
- fixed several crashing issues
- reduced memory consumption considerably
Modification Dates fixed with Beta 5
Feb/10/2008 11:01 PM
I rewrote some code to put vital information into the user's Caches folder instead of along side the files. This leaves the modification dates intact. Thanks to everyone who was reporting this.
Changes:
- fixed a bug where the modification date of folders and files would be changed
Beta 4!
Feb/07/2008 07:14 PM
Changes:
- the crash reporter now also reports the console.log contents on Leopard. (While this is not so interesting for the user, it makes diagnosing crashes on Leopard easier)
- the help menu item now shows up
